Welcome to the site of the Nida Institute for Biblical Scholarship, which was founded by the American Bible Society but will be an integrated part of the United Bible Societies as from January 1, 2025.

The Nida Institute was named after Dr. Eugene Albert Nida, who can be considered one of the forerunners of modern Bible Translation, and we are trying to stand on the shoulders of giants like Nida to serve the global cause of Bible Translation with cutting-edge methodologies, tools and resources.
